Administrator impersonation via predictable integer cookies
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Authentication bypass in Tenda smart cameras version 20260625 allows remote attackers to read protected camera data by guessing SESSION values. CWebSessionManager_ParseSession parses the SESSION cookie as an integer, while the login handler emits the token in the same predictable format without effective brute-force protection. Exploitation requires network access to the web interface and an active administrator session whose identifier can be guessed; the published CNA assessment limits direct impact to low confidentiality loss.
