Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked download authorization
Published Aug 16, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026
Information disclosure in Extra Product Options Builder for WooCommerce before 1.2.176 allows remote attackers to retrieve customer uploads. The getpublicfileupload endpoint accepts a stored filename and serves the associated file without checking authentication, order ownership, or entitlement. Exploitation requires knowledge of the stored name and crosses an access boundary only when the web server honors the upload directory's deny-all rule, as Apache does; default nginx already serves the file directly.
