Use of default credentials in Edimax BR-6208AC 2_1.02 allows remote attackers to access the router through its login interface. The auth_check_userpass2 function compares supplied credentials with hardcoded admin and 1234 values and accepts a matching pair. Network access to the login interface is sufficient; the authoritative record establishes information disclosure but no integrity or availability loss.
