Unauthenticated attachment disclosure via unchecked REST endpoints
Published Aug 16, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026
Information disclosure in WP Directory Kit CatFolders Document Gallery & PDF Library before 2.0.7 allows remote attackers to read attachment metadata. The get-attachments-folders, catfdoc-reload-table, and catfdoc-search-data REST handlers return attachment titles, types, sizes, and direct URLs without checking a cookie, nonce, or authorization. No authentication is required; a folder ID exposes metadata and direct URLs even when the folder is absent from every published gallery.
