Authenticated script injection via unneutralized manualssid
Published Feb 6, 2026 · Updated Feb 6, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Edimax BR-6288ACL 1.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script through manualssid. The wiz_WISP24gmanual function in wiz_WISP24gmanual.asp processes a crafted manualssid value as executable browser content instead of neutralizing it. Administrative privileges and a victim viewing the affected response are required; successful exploitation changes content in the victim's browser context.
