CVE-2026-1969Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated arbitrary file upload via AJAX handler

Published Mar 23, 2026 · Updated Mar 23, 2026

Arbitrary file upload in ThemeREX Addons before 2.38.5 allows remote attackers to write files to WordPress servers via AJAX. The trx_addons_ai_helper_agenerator AJAX handler accepts a PHP-named upload_voice part when the same multipart request supplies upload_audio content labeled as an image. The endpoint requires a compatible ThemeREX theme and a configured OpenAI or ModelsLab token; the result is unauthorized server file creation, while code execution depends on upload placement and server handling.
