Authenticated command execution via unchecked server method
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Missing authorization in a server-side method in SCADA-LTS ScadaLTS 2.7.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands. The exposed method invokes operating-system commands without checking the caller's authorization, including for read-only accounts. Read-only credentials are sufficient, and commands run as root in the server process, enabling complete host compromise.
