Open redirect via unvalidated HTTP Host header
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Open redirect in IBM Common Licensing Agent and ART 9.0 through 9.0.0.2 allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary domains. The web interface trusts an attacker-controlled HTTP Host header when constructing a redirect target instead of validating it against permitted hosts. Network access to the web interface is sufficient; a crafted request causes a trusted application URL to send users to an attacker-chosen domain.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
