Incorrect authorization in Arista EOS allows remote authenticated users to perform gNMI operations beyond assigned permissions. Arista has not published which gNMI authorization check returns incorrect results or why permitted requests receive access beyond the assigned policy. Exploitation requires gNMI with authorization enabled and valid gNMI credentials; the reported consequence is access outside assigned permissions, not service interruption.
