CVE-2026-19636Network attack vector

Unauthorized state changes via predictable CSRF tokens

Published Aug 14, 2026 · Updated Aug 14, 2026

CSRF weakness in Tenable Security Center before 6.9.0 allows remote attackers to make unauthorized state changes through a victim's browser. The CSRF-token generator uses a predictable method with insufficient randomness and entropy, weakening token validation against guessing. Exploitation requires user interaction and a predicted valid token; the published impact is limited to integrity, with no confidentiality or availability loss.
