Cross-site scripting in the Content Editor in GitLab CE/EE allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a targeted user's session. The Content Editor improperly sanitizes pasted HTML, allowing script content to run in the origin of the targeted GitLab session. Affected releases are 19.0 before 19.1.8, 19.2 before 19.2.6, and 19.3 before 19.3.2; exploitation requires targeted-user interaction and permits session-context reads and actions.
