Path traversal and HTTP parameter pollution in Snowflake Python APIs before 1.13.0 allow remote authenticated users to escalate privileges. Unencoded .. path segments redirect REST requests to parent resources, while unencoded &, #, and = delimiters let object names override swap, clone, or rename constraints. Exploitation requires a downstream application to pass attacker-controlled identifiers through snowflake.core under a higher-privileged Snowflake session.
