Sandbox escape via TabStrip use-after-free
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Use after free in Google Chrome's TabStrip before 151.0.7922.137 on Mac allows remote attackers to escape the browser sandbox. Chrome identifies the affected locus as TabStrip, but the restricted bug report leaves the freed object's lifetime error and triggering operation undisclosed. Exploitation requires a crafted HTML page to run after renderer compromise; success crosses the renderer sandbox boundary on macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
