Service interruption via server-side validation bypass
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Improper input validation in IBM Common Licensing Agent and ART 9.0 through 9.0.0.2 allows local users to interrupt service. The server trusts client-side validation and accepts modified request values without enforcing the same restrictions. No privileges or user interaction are required, but local access is required; IBM reports only availability impact and identifies no narrower request handler.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
