Unauthenticated form entry overwrite via user-controlled ID
Published Mar 15, 2026 · Updated Mar 15, 2026
IDOR in Basix NEX-Forms 9.1.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite arbitrary form entries through a crafted request. submit_nex_form() trusts the nf_set_entry_update_id request value as a database entry key and updates the matching wap_nex_forms_entries row without checking authorization. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful requests replace stored submission data without reading or deleting unrelated entries.
