Gift card data disclosure via unchecked order lookup
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Missing authorization in WP Swings Ultimate Gift Cards for WooCommerce 3.0.3 through 3.2.9 allows remote attackers to read gift card data. The wps_uwgc_report_details handler accepts an arbitrary order identifier and returns the attached gift card's customer data, balance, and dates without checking authentication, ownership, or permission. Version 3.2.9 also returns the live redemption code, enabling spending by its holder; versions 3.0.3 through 3.2.8 do not expose that code.
