CVE-2026-19429Network attack vector

Rejected arbitrary file-read claim

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

The CNA rejected CVE-2026-19429 after it had alleged authenticated arbitrary file reads through Jenkins TAR extraction. The withdrawn description said FilePath.untarFrom() passed each archive link target to symlinkTo() without confirming that the resolved target remained inside the workspace. Because the CNA removed the affected-product, CWE, CVSS, and reference data without publishing a rejection reason, the allegation is not a confirmed vulnerability record.
