Unauthenticated stored XSS via unencoded comments
Published Aug 9, 2026 · Updated Aug 9, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in CommentSave.php in Code Projects Task Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript. The unauthenticated endpoint stores the comment parameter in the comments table, and two comment views echo it as raw HTML without contextual encoding. A user or administrator must view the stored comment, where the script runs with that victim's same-origin privileges.
