Unauthenticated password reset via exposed verification code
Published Aug 9, 2026 · Updated Aug 9, 2026
Weak password recovery in macrozheng mall 0504e86 allows remote attackers to reset member passwords through the mall-portal API. UmsMemberController.getAuthCode returns the generated verification code in the response, while updatePassword changes the telephone-linked account after checking only that exposed code. Knowing a target telephone number enables password replacement, and knowing the username additionally permits login as that member.
