CVE-2026-19335

Local filesystem access via unsanitized skill name

Published Aug 9, 2026 · Updated Aug 9, 2026

Path traversal in Jane-xiaoer Skill Vision Control 1.0 through 1.3.0 allows local users to read, write, or delete files outside its store. The getSkillVersionsDir function passes a caller-controlled skillName directly to path.join with ~/.svc/versions and never verifies that the resolved path remains beneath that directory. A malicious local MCP client with low privileges can trigger version-management operations against filesystem locations reachable by the service account.
