Local command execution via unquoted schema argument
Published Aug 9, 2026 · Updated Aug 9, 2026
Command injection in NightTrek Supabase MCP Server 0.1.0 allows local users to execute shell commands through the generate_types tool. The handler appends the caller-controlled schema string to an npx supabase command without quoting, escaping, or an allowlist, then passes the result to execAsync. The caller must be able to invoke the MCP tool; injected commands run with the privileges of the server process.
