Authenticated file disclosure via unguarded attachment paths
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Path traversal in IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.11.2 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The Chat Input to Message attachment pipeline resolves attacker-controlled files values without enforcing the local-file guard, so absolute paths or traversal sequences are read and inserted into model prompts. A valid account and authenticated build request are required; exposure is limited to files readable by the server process, including secrets, environment data, databases, and other tenants' uploads.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.0.0 <=1.11.2
