CVE-2026-19293Public exploit

BLE key downgrade via omitted SMP key size

Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026

BLE key downgrade in Silicon Labs WiSeConnect SDK 2.0.0 through 2.13.1 and 4.0.0 allows physically proximate attackers to reduce key entropy. The peripheral SMP security request omits the maximum supported encryption key size, so re-pairing can negotiate a shorter key that is easier to brute-force. Bluetooth-range access and induced re-pairing are required; recovering the weakened key enables device impersonation or man-in-the-middle access.
