CVE-2026-19284Public exploit

OS command execution via shell-concatenated clone fields

Published Aug 8, 2026 · Updated Aug 8, 2026

Command injection in Coder-API 1.0 and 1.1.0 allows local users to execute OS commands through crafted Git clone fields. The createProject function interpolates caller-controlled URL, branch, and depth values into a git clone string passed directly to child_process.exec. Exploitation requires access to the project-creation flow with network cloning enabled and runs commands with the server process's privileges.
