Unauthenticated file read via encoded path traversal
Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026
Path traversal in GitroomHQ Postiz before 2.22.1 allows remote attackers to read application-accessible files through the uploads route. The handler concatenates decoded URL path segments with the upload directory and streams the result without normalization or directory confinement. Exploitation requires the local storage backend, which is the default; exposed environment secrets enable non-expiring administrator-session forgery.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
