Unauthenticated subscription cancellation via unchecked nonce
Published Mar 18, 2026 · Updated Mar 18, 2026
Missing authorization in WP Swings Subscriptions for WooCommerce 1.9.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to cancel active subscriptions. The wps_sfw_admin_cancel_susbcription() handler runs on init without authentication or authorization and accepts a merely nonempty nonce instead of verifying it. An unauthenticated crafted GET request specifying a subscription ID and any nonempty nonce changes that subscription's state to canceled.
