Contributor-level stored XSS via unvalidated effect settings
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026
Stored XSS in WP Royal Royal Addons for Elementor before 1.7.1066 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through widget settings. The Image Accordion widget emits effect-setting values inside an HTML attribute without validating them, so stored markup breaks the attribute boundary. Contributor-level access or higher is required to save the payload, and script execution occurs when a user views the affected page.
