Remote code execution via tampered dialog paths
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
Request-integrity failure in Progress Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX before 2026.3.812 allows remote attackers to achieve remote code execution. The RadEditor file browser's DialogHandler fails to authenticate path-bearing request parameters before using them for read, write, and upload folders. Exploitation requires application encryption key material, and successful path redirection permits dangerous files to reach executable server locations.
