Cross-organization snapshot deletion and delete-key recovery
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026
Broken access control in Grafana OSS and Enterprise allows organization administrators to access other organizations’ dashboard snapshots. The snapshot APIs authorize deletion across organization boundaries and return a secret delete key when given only the public share key. Reachability requires authenticated organization-administrator access on the same instance; Grafana has not identified the specific missing ownership check.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=12.4.0 <12.4.8
- Affected versionversion=13.0.0 <13.0.6
