Sandbox escape via Skia out-of-bounds write
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Skia in Google Chrome before 151.0.7922.109 allows remote attackers to escape the browser sandbox. The restricted Chromium issue discloses no affected Skia function or malformed graphics operation beyond an out-of-bounds write triggered by crafted HTML. Exploitation requires user interaction and an already compromised renderer; success extends control beyond the renderer sandbox.
