Sandboxed code execution via crafted HTML page
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Inappropriate V8 implementation in Google Chrome before 151.0.7922.109 allows remote attackers to execute code in a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. Google identifies the locus only as V8; the linked issue is restricted, so the incorrect operation on attacker-controlled page content is undisclosed. A user must load the crafted page, and successful exploitation remains confined to the browser sandbox unless combined with a separate escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
