Sandboxed code execution via Translate use-after-free
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Use after free in Google Chrome Translate before 151.0.7922.109 allows remote attackers to execute code in the sandbox via crafted HTML. Google identifies the Translate component but has not disclosed the freed object's lifecycle or the operation that dereferences it. Exploitation requires a user to load attacker-crafted HTML, and the reported code execution remains inside Chrome's sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
