Unauthenticated function invocation via template variable shadowing
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Function injection in Themeum Tutor LMS before 4.0.6 allows remote attackers to invoke zero-argument PHP functions through crafted requests. The tutor_load_template and tutor_load_template_part functions pass request-derived variables to extract() without EXTR_SKIP, allowing supplied keys to replace internal locals. No authentication or interaction is required; callable functions can disclose server data through returned output and affect web-server integrity or availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
