Stored XSS via unescaped apix shortcode attribute
Published Mar 7, 2026 · Updated Mar 7, 2026
Stored XSS in Innovaatik Hammas Calendar 1.5.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the apix shortcode attribute. The HP_Calendar_manage_redirect handler passes apix to HP_Calendar_manage_url, which concatenates the value into a JavaScript URL string without validation or context-appropriate escaping. Contributor-level access is required to save the shortcode in a page, and the script runs in the browser of anyone who visits the injected page.
