Host file disclosure via unchecked attachment paths
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
File inclusion in TinyAGI 0.0.20 allows remote attackers to disclose host files through the unauthenticated Message API endpoint. The collectFiles function in packages/core/src/response.ts accepts raw paths from agent-generated [send_file: ...] tags, checks only whether each path exists, and queues matching files as outbound attachments. Exploitation requires influence over an agent or provider response; readable host files can then be delivered through configured Telegram, Discord, or WhatsApp channels.
