Client code execution via unclamped parameter metadata
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in MongoDB BI Connector ODBC Driver 1.0.0 through 1.4.8 allows remote attackers to corrupt client memory. The stored-procedure parameter metadata parser fails to clamp a server-supplied parameter size before writing it into a client buffer. An attacker must control the connected server or answer in its place; corruption crashes the client or, under favorable memory conditions, executes code.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
