Stored XSS via unsanitized tab titles
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Stored XSS in Drupal Entity Browser before 2.16.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a viewer's browser. The module fails to sufficiently sanitize tab titles before rendering them on an entity browser page, preserving attacker-supplied HTML attributes. Exploitation requires permission to insert such HTML on that page and can read or alter data available to the viewing user's session.
