CVE-2026-18980Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via shell approval bypass

Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026

Command injection in NEAR AI IronClaw 0.29.0 through 0.29.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands without explicit approval. The classify_command_risk function omits newline separators and treats wrapper-launched payloads as low risk before passing the original input to sh -c. Exploitation requires shell auto-approval; commands then run with the IronClaw process privileges in its host or container context.
