Improper authorization in Red Hat OpenShift AI's odh-dashboard allows remote authenticated users to gain elevated namespace access. The dashboard accepts an attacker-controlled roleRef when creating a RoleBinding, letting its service account bind any ClusterRole, including cluster-admin. An authenticated dashboard account and an enabled dashboard are required; the resulting binding grants elevated rights in the chosen namespace and can preserve access.
