Unsafe deserialization in Red Hat OpenShift AI allows remote attackers to execute code through registry-stored Feast UDFs. The feature server reconstructs dill-serialized UDF objects from the registry as executable Python objects, while the registry server deserializes them without effective authorization. Default feature-server configurations permit unauthenticated exploitation; registry-server exploitation requires authentication but enables cross-tenant data access and lateral movement.
