Cross-tenant denial of service via omitted feature-view scope
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Authorization bypass in Feast feature servers in Red Hat OpenShift AI 2.25 and 3.3 allows remote attackers to corrupt data and exhaust resources. The /materialize and /materialize-incremental handlers expand an omitted feature_views field to every feature view without authorizing the expanded set. Default no_auth deployments expose the operation to unauthenticated remote attackers; with authentication enabled, any remote authenticated user can corrupt data and consume resources across all tenants.
