Subscriber metadata disclosure via wpcac_edit_get AJAX action
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Sensitive data disclosure in WPC Admin Columns before 2.3.4 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary WordPress metadata. The wpcac_edit_get AJAX action accepts a caller-selected object identifier and metadata key, then returns user, post, or term metadata without verifying the caller's authorization. Subscriber-level access and a nonce exposed on authenticated administration pages are sufficient; administrator session tokens and application-password data can be read, but no write access is reported.
