Author-level content deletion via unchecked import ownership
Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Themeisle Feedzy RSS Feeds before 5.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to alter other users' import jobs. Import-job action handlers accept a requested job identifier without checking ownership or edit permission, and one action also omits an object-type check. Author-level access is required; successful abuse can permanently delete imported posts, unpublish arbitrary posts or pages, disable jobs, or reset scheduling and deduplication state.
