CVE-2026-18874Network attack vector

Subscription tampering via unescaped annotations

Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

YAML injection in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes allows attackers to modify OLM Subscription data via crafted annotations. In volsync-addon-controller, annotation values are rendered into YAML with text/template without escaping before the Subscription manifest is created. Exposure is limited to deployments that explicitly set the volsync-addon-deploy-type: olm annotation, a non-default OLM path since ACM 2.13, and the published CVSS requires high privileges.
