Local arbitrary file write via unsanitized display name
Published Aug 4, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Path traversal in ZomboDroid Meme Generator 4.6830 for Android allows local users to write files outside the intended directory. The t5.l.c sink uses a content URI's raw display name to construct the destination file without stripping path segments or verifying its canonical location. Another installed Android app can invoke a permissionless exported share receiver without user interaction and write attacker-controlled data elsewhere in Meme Generator's private data directory.
