CVE-2026-1881Network attack vector

Private post metadata disclosure via unchecked key

Published May 21, 2026 · Updated May 21, 2026

Authorization bypass in Broadstreet for WordPress 1.52.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read private post metadata. The get_sponsored_meta AJAX action accepts a user-controlled metadata key and returns its value without checking whether the requester may access the target post metadata. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the documented impact is limited to unauthorized disclosure without modification or service interruption.
