Cross-tenant SQL execution via unescaped attribution keys
Published Aug 4, 2026 · Updated Aug 4, 2026
Stored SQL injection in OpenMeter 1.0.0-beta.218 through 1.0.0-beta.231 allows remote attackers to execute ClickHouse SQL. queryhelper.go quotes customer usageAttribution.key and subjectKeys values after sqlbuilder.Escape(), which leaves single quotes unchanged. Customer creation or update access is required; the open-source default has no authentication, while multi-tenant deployments require tenant credentials, enabling cross-tenant data reads, query-result corruption, and service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
