Unauthenticated status tampering via update_appointment_status

Missing authorization in TrueBooker before 1.2.7 allows remote attackers to change appointment statuses via an AJAX action. The update_appointment_status handler accepts appointment identifiers and status values from unauthenticated requests and applies the change without verifying caller identity, ownership, or allowed state transitions. Any site exposing the plugin's front-end AJAX endpoint can have arbitrary bookings moved into attacker-chosen states, and affected customers can receive false notification emails.
