Internal content disclosure via unchecked browser snapshot
Published Aug 4, 2026 · Updated Aug 4, 2026
SSRF in Hermes Agent 0.16.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read internal web content through browser tooling. The browser_console evaluation path can navigate the active main frame to a private address, and browser_snapshot returns that page without rechecking the destination. Tool-capable access is required; exposed data is limited to content reachable from the agent host or its configured cloud browser.
