Local code execution via DLL search-path hijacking
Published Aug 4, 2026 · Updated Aug 4, 2026
DLL hijacking in GeoVision GV-ASManager 6.3.0 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code through a crafted library. The application search path prioritizes an attacker-writable directory over the legitimate DLL location and loads the planted library into the GV-ASManager process without verifying its trusted origin. Exploitation requires local write access to that directory and user interaction, and the code runs with the process privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
